ABOUT QUIET GROOVE
Quiet Groove was born in Salt Lake City. Rob Ferre and Jake Russell did not license a national brand or purchase a franchise. They built Utah’s first silent disco company from the ground up, because they saw what these events did for people and knew Utah deserved a homegrown version of it.
Since 2018, we have been the original.
ROB FERRE
ROB FERRE is a Salt Lake City-based DJ, entertainer, keynote speaker, and professional emcee. He founded Life of the Party in 2007 after spending years in Orlando working for Disney, Universal Studios, and Nickelodeon as a game show host and DJ. With nearly two decades of performing at events across Utah and beyond, Rob handles live DJ bookings and the on-site experience for Quiet Groove events.
JAKE RUSSELL
JAKE RUSSELL is a seasoned DJ and audio technician with over 20 years of experience rooted in Salt Lake City. His company High Rise Audio is woven into Utah’s entertainment and broadcast landscape, with regular work alongside local radio, the NBA, and the NCAA. Jake manages Quiet Groove’s equipment, inventory, and rental operations — he is the reason our 250-headset inventory is maintained, sanitized, and ready to go for any event.

Together, they are the only locally founded silent disco company in Utah that brings both live DJ talent and in-house technical expertise under one roof. No national middleman. No shipped equipment.
